In the foreground at the left is an alms chest. At the right in the middle distance is an organ; the interior of its left door is painted with the Resurrection. Below the organ hangs a painting of the exterior of the Grote Kerk. The congregation is seated around and facing the pulpit as is the practice in the Dutch Reformed Church.<BR>NG 1451 is the only known dated interior by Gerrit Berckheyde.
